The first time I stepped into her studio, I was scared, unsure of myself, and struggling with my confidence after leaving an abusive relationship and gaining over 30 pounds. Like so many women, I thought I needed to lose weight, have perfect hair and makeup, or somehow become a different version of myself before I could feel beautiful in front of a camera. Allison quickly proved me wrong.
From the moment I arrived, she created a safe, welcoming space where I felt comfortable exactly as I was. A year later, I had the opportunity to work with Allison again for a model call. I have had two personal session with Allison and I have been a bridesmaid at a wedding that she photographed. My personal sessions were boudoir shoots. The studio is so welcoming, I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in. Allison played whatever music I wanted, and guided me through everything step by step! How to pose, where to put my head, hands, arms, legs, feet...whatever! Allison is not just your photographer, she's THERE, she's listening, and she's guiding. Second session was a model call and I walked in excited and ready to do whatever she told me, because after seeing those first pictures... I was hooked! Allison is an amazing, professional, and beautiful person! Love her so much!!!
